Eversolo Launches T8 Professional-Grade Streaming Transport.
Eversolo has officially introduced the T8, a professional-grade streaming transport aimed at high-end audio systems. The launch follows the company’s presentation of several new products at this year’s Munich High-End Show, where the T8 was described as one of the most anticipated additions to its lineup.
The manufacturer positions the T8 as a device designed to deliver clean, precise digital audio. According to Eversolo, the transport’s isolated outputs and proprietary software system are intended to improve both purity and flexibility in playback.
“Eversolo T8 represents our unwavering commitment to pure sound. Every detail—from the femtosecond clock to evotune room correction—has been engineered to ensure that music lovers experience every nuance exactly as the artist intended,” said Spring Meng, chief technology officer at Eversolo.
The T8 continues the design approach seen in previous Eversolo products such as the DMP-A6 and DMP-A10. It features a CNC-machined aluminum chassis intended to reduce electromagnetic interference and a six-inch touchscreen on the front panel for system control. The user interface has been updated for faster response times.
From a technical standpoint, the device incorporates a femtosecond clock system for accurate audio timing, which the company claims reduces jitter and preserves detail. Power is supplied through a linear system with a custom toroidal transformer and Teflon-insulated connections, which Eversolo says helps lower noise levels.
The T8 supports a wide range of digital connections. These include up to eight IIS output modes, an isolated USB audio output, AES/EBU, and coaxial transmission at up to 24bit/192kHz. Networking options include both an RJ45 gigabit port and an SFP module with electrical isolation.
Storage is expandable via two SSD slots supporting up to 16TB in total. Inside, the unit runs on a quad-core ARM processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of eMMC storage. Wireless connectivity is provided through Wi-Fi 6.
Streaming integration covers major platforms such as Tidal, Qobuz, Amazon Music, Deezer, and TuneIn Radio, with support for Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect, and Roon Ready playback. File format support extends to DSD, PCM, FLAC, APE, and WAV, with playback up to DSD512 and PCM 768kHz/32Bit.
For room optimization, the T8 includes the company’s evotune correction system, which uses FIR algorithms to adjust audio output based on acoustic conditions. Users can run calibration with the Eversolo EM-01 microphone or a smartphone. Additional tuning features include a 10-band parametric equalizer, FIR filter import, and loudness adjustment.
Control is available via mobile apps for Android and iOS, as well as through a Bluetooth/IR remote. Other features include Wake-on-LAN, gapless playback, metadata management, and support for network storage and cloud services.
Availability and Price
The Eversolo T8 is now available at a suggested retail price of $1,380 / €1,380.
