Qobuz Connect added to a number of Gold Note streaming devices.
Gold Note has announced that several of its streaming devices are now compatible with Qobuz Connect, a feature that enables direct music playback from the Qobuz app to supported audio systems.
According to the Italian hi-fi manufacturer Gold Note, Qobuz Connect integration allows users to stream music without relying on third-party apps or interfaces. Playback can be controlled directly through the Qobuz app, with the connection described by Gold Note as “direct, instant, and delivers ultra-high fidelity.”
The following Gold Note models will support the feature:
- DS-1000 Evo
- DS-1000 Evo Line
- DS-10 Evo
- DS-10 Evo Line
- IS-1000 Mk II
- IS-10
Qobuz Connect is positioned by the streaming service as a high-performance alternative to other wireless streaming options. Gold Note claims that the integration ensures “no distortion, packet loss or jitter,” and allows seamless transitions between headphones and hi-fi systems without playback interruption.
Qobuz offers a catalog of more than 100 million tracks in high-resolution (24-bit up to 192 kHz) and CD-quality formats. The company promotes itself as one of the leading platforms for audiophile-grade music streaming.
Gold Note states that the integration with Qobuz Connect “represents a remarkable evolution for music lovers,” though this remains a manufacturer’s characterization.
