Crosley introduces the C65 record player with an internal 50 Watt amp. Passive speakers included in the package.
Crosley has announced the launch of the C65, a new belt-drive record player system designed to combine retro-inspired styling with modern audio features. The model is set to retail at £289 in the UK and $299 in the US.
The C65 arrives alongside Crosley’s previously revealed “Miles” record player for 2025, and is positioned by the manufacturer as its new flagship turntable system. According to Crosley, the unit delivers “powerful 50W stereo sound” through a pair of included bookshelf speakers. It comes fitted with a pre-mounted moving-magnet Audio-Technica ATN3600L cartridge, which the company notes can be upgraded by the user.
A switchable amplifier is built into the design, allowing the C65 to be used as a standalone setup or connected to an existing hi-fi system or powered speakers. Crosley states that this design choice opens up an “upgrade path from all-in-one record players.”
The turntable supports Bluetooth 5.1 wireless streaming, enabling playback from smartphones or other compatible devices through the included speakers. Physical playback is possible for both 33 ⅓ RPM and 45 RPM records.
In terms of construction, the C65 is equipped with a full-size steel platter, aluminium tonearm with cue lever, adjustable pitch control, and a belt-drive DC motor. The unit is supported by resonance-dampening feet, a feature Crosley says contributes to stable performance.
Included accessories are a 45-RPM adaptor, slip-mat, dust cover, cartridge alignment protractor, and spare NP5 stylus.
Crosley positions the C65 as a “plug and play vinyl system” aimed at music enthusiasts and design-conscious buyers.
The Crosley C65 will be available through authorised retailers and the company’s online store. Pricing is confirmed at £289 in the UK and $299 in the US.
