Perfect stereo image
Stereo is more than just volume differences between the left and right channels. Phase is critical to determining the exact position of a signal in acoustic space – and therefore equally important in the design of PSI Audio loudspeakers. The precise phase alignment of PSI Audio’s CPR technology provides a vivid, spatial listening experience, just as it was intended. Not only instrument placement and reverb tails, but also compression artifacts are easily identified with the phase-corrected reproduction of PSI Audio speakers.
Handcrafted Tweeter
What do you do when you can’t find a driver that’s suitable for the sonic precision you want to achieve with your speaker? At PSI Audio, we decided to build our own tweeter.
The tweeter used in the A17-M is unique, our own development and is handmade in our manufactory in Switzerland. Our tweeter is superior to any solution available on the market and offers unparalleled clarity, subtlety as well as fidelity. It took us a lot of time and effort to develop this tweeter – certainly much more than if we had bought it from an international supplier. But the result is absolutely worth it.
