Darkz Signature Z2S
The resonance control from Zirconium enables outstanding musical refinement. The result is a natural soundstage unrivalled in its purity as well as precision and attention to musical details. Although the audio impact of titanium and zirconium shares some distinctive similarities, the audio effect is definitely much more pronounced with the new Darkz Signature Z2S.
Refined with special coatings
The Ansuz Supreme coating on each disc further enhances the acoustic performance of the Darkz Signature Z2S. This application of the coating to each of the zirconium discs uses a HiPIMS (High Power Impulse Magnetron Sputtering) PVD-machine, thus creating create the finest and most uniform layer of zirconium, tungsten and titanium, followed by a layer of titanium nitride. Finally the discs are applied with a layer of Zirconium.
Darkz S2T
The Darkz S2T in stainless steel shares the same important features as the Darkz Signature Z2S regarding the resonance control. The tone is organic, the soundstage is natural and the music details are present.
No loss in Translation
Resonance control devices absorb the vibrations that are not directly related to the signal path. The absorption results in an acoustical vibrational feedback, which affects the overall sound. In contrast, Ansuz Darkz devices intend to preserve the natural and authentic sound. They avoid any changes in the authentic sound reproduction which emanate from the use of some other traditional grounding materials, making the sound unnatural, cold, and harsh.
Design Philosophy
When defining the exact set-up and the dimensions of the Zirconium Darkz Z2S, Ansuz Acoustics was exclusively guided by its core philosophy to always strive for the ultimate in sound quality. The Ansuz Darkz – Z2S consists of three discs made of zirconium with the acoustically optimized coatings.
Each of the upper two discs floats on three tungsten balls to ensure excellent handling and absorption of vibrations.
