Estelon Expands A-Series with New Compact Loudspeakers and Subwoofer.

Estelon A-Series New Models

Estonian loudspeaker manufacturer Estelon has announced three new additions to its A-Series lineup: the Aurelia, Aurelia Centre, and Aurus. The new models will be formally introduced during the High End Munich 2025 show, marking the company’s 15th anniversary.

The latest offerings are aimed at expanding Estelon’s footprint in the compact speaker and home theatre segments while maintaining the brand’s characteristic emphasis on acoustics and industrial design.

Aurelia: Compact Two-Way Loudspeaker

Estelon A-Series New Models

The Aurelia is a two-way passive loudspeaker in a sealed box configuration. Estelon claims the sealed design allows for “nimble, accurate bass with authentic timbre and a natural soundstage.” The speaker features a pair of 132 mm (5-inch) midrange drivers made from Egyptian Papyrus fibre-filled paper by SB Acoustics, and a 25 mm (1-inch) textile dome tweeter sourced from Scan-Speak.

The enclosure is made from a thermoformed, mineral-filled composite, a material the company says minimizes resonance and internal reflections. The cabinet comes with desk stand feet, while optional floor stands are also available.

Key specifications include a frequency response of 70–30,000 Hz, 87 dB sensitivity (2.83V), and a nominal impedance of 4 ohms. Estelon recommends a minimum amplifier power of 30 watts. Internal wiring is by high-end cable brand Kubala-Sosna.

Aurelia Centre: Home Theatre Integration

Estelon has also introduced the Aurelia Centre, a matching centre channel speaker that uses the same driver and cabinet technology as the Aurelia. It is intended for home cinema environments, and Estelon says it delivers a “natural tonal balance and realistic 3D imaging.”

Like the Aurelia, the Centre model is a two-way, sealed box speaker with a rated power of 80 watts. It shares the same internal cabling and cabinet construction.

Aurus: Subwoofer with Active Amplification

Completing the new trio is the Aurus, an actively amplified subwoofer designed to match the Aurelia and Aura models. It features a 12-inch long-excursion driver with a 3-inch voice coil, paired with a passive radiator to extend low-frequency performance without port noise. Estelon specifies a frequency range of 18–75 Hz when paired with the Aurelia, and 18–45 Hz with the Aura.

The subwoofer is powered by a 1200-watt Class-D amplifier in bridged mode. It includes both XLR line-level and high-level banana plug inputs, along with analog filter systems tailored for integration with Estelon’s main speakers.

The compact cabinet allows for flexible placement in listening rooms and home theatres. As with the other A-Series models, the enclosure is constructed from Estelon’s signature mineral-filled composite.
