Solidsteel Launches HP Series Luxury Audio Rack With High Load Capacity and Italian Craftsmanship.
Italian audio furniture manufacturer Solidsteel has introduced the HP Series Luxury Audio Rack, a product designed to support heavy, high-end audio components while maintaining an emphasis on design and vibration control. The rack, described by the company as “a technical tour de force,” is positioned for audiophiles who demand both performance and aesthetics in their home audio systems.
Built for heavy audio components
Each shelf in the HP Series can support up to 120 kilograms, making the rack suitable for reference amplifiers, power conditioners, and turntables. This capacity is significantly higher than that of most conventional audio racks. Despite the strength, Solidsteel highlights the rack’s visual design, presenting it as a balance between engineering functionality and Italian style.
Hybrid materials for resonance control
The shelves feature a composite design: a polyurethane foam-filled resin core topped with a ceramic surface. According to Solidsteel, this structure enhances damping and stability while offering long-lasting durability. The ceramic finish is available in two options—Calacatta White and Atlantic Black—which are both scratch-resistant and visually distinctive.
The company claims the design provides “exceptional resonance control” in addition to its aesthetic appeal.
Vibration isolation with 3D-printed discs
Vibration management is a central part of the rack’s design. Each tier is mechanically decoupled using 3D-printed rubber discs that separate the contact points between levels. These are paired with stainless steel spikes, which Solidsteel says improve energy dissipation.
The structural legs, known as Hyperspike legs, are made of stainless steel and available with brass or copper liquid-painted finishes. The company positions these as combining mechanical performance with a refined look.
Italian production and design tradition
Solidsteel emphasizes that the HP Series is manufactured entirely in Italy. The company highlights its process of design, prototyping, and quality control as part of its broader design heritage.
