Two new turntables with Bluetooth and multiple colour options aimed at budding Vinyl enthusiasts hit the market.
Majority has launched two new turntables aimed at listeners looking to start collecting vinyl or upgrade from a basic record player. The Majority Stylo and Folio are designed around plug-and-play operation, Bluetooth connectivity and a range of colour options.
According to the manufacturer, both models are intended for a new generation of vinyl listeners, combining compact designs with features aimed at making vinyl playback easier to integrate into modern home audio systems.
The Majority Stylo is the more flexible of the two models for users who already have, or plan to add, external audio equipment. It features Bluetooth 5.3, RCA line and phono connections and a built-in pre-amp, allowing it to be used with compatible Bluetooth speakers or headphones, active speakers or a traditional hi-fi system.
The belt-drive turntable supports 33⅓ and 45 RPM records and includes an aluminium platter, adjustable counterweight, anti-skate control, cueing lever and pitch adjustment. According to Majority, these features give users greater control over playback while maintaining a straightforward setup.
Stylo uses an Audio-Technica AT3600L moving magnet cartridge, along with a carbon fibre tonearm and replaceable stylus. Its compact footprint is also intended to make it suitable for smaller living spaces.
The Majority Folio takes a different approach, incorporating built-in stereo speakers for an all-in-one vinyl playback system. It also includes Bluetooth input and output, allowing users to connect additional wireless audio equipment.
Folio supports USB playback and USB recording, giving users the option of recording vinyl to digital formats, while RCA output, a headphone connection and AUX input provide further connectivity options.
The model features an adjustable counterweight, S-shaped tonearm, aluminium platter and built-in pre-amp. It also uses the Audio-Technica AT3600L cartridge.
According to Majority, the combination of built-in speakers and multiple connection options makes Folio suitable for everyday listening or use as the centre of a compact home audio setup.
