The Raidho X2t looks drop-dead gorgeous yet deceptively unassuming. Sonically, however, it delivers far more than you’d ever expect from a slender, 50-pound (23-kilogram) floorstanding speaker. Built on a foundation of tight, controlled bass, it produces a soundstage more reminiscent of a full-sized reference tower than a compact column speaker. The path to this performance is paved with uncompromising engineering: the crossover is minimalist but populated with premium components, while the drivers – a planar tweeter and tantalum-coated aluminum-ceramic cones – are all proprietary designs.
